Edward William Boers


Edward William Boers was a seaman serving in the United States Navy who received the Medal of Honor for bravery.

Boers was born March 10, 1884 in Cincinnati, Ohio and after joining the navy from Kentucky was stationed aboard the USS160Bennington160 as a seaman. On July 21, 1905 the USS160Bennington was in San Diego, California when a boiler exploded. For his actions received the Medal January 5, 1906.
